I thought I would have to rivet them to the metal, but the adhesive is EXTREMELY strong. They completely cover the full rocker panel, and even cover the cab corners. I had to do a very small amount of trimming on one panel, but it took 10 seconds. They work and look great on my 2006 Crew Cab Chevy.
